In early October 2007 I discovered that I was pregnant.

My son is one now, and I've moved fairly firmly in the direction of needlework and handicrafts over the past two years. I'm turning out unusual baby clothes and homewares with a twist, and have discovered the joy that is traditional embroidery.

I'm hoping to get back into more "arty" things as well as craft, now that the horror that is pregnancy, the recovery from multiple surgeries and his newborn and early infancy are all done with.
